Parks Victoria commissioned our practice as the lead consultant, to undertake the design and documentation for the reinstatement of the Masons Falls visitor area within Kinglake National Park, part of a program of work following the Black Saturday bush fires.
The design included a new car park, picnic area, toilet block, picnic shelters, interpretive signage, path resurfacing and a lookout platform and viewing area for people to view Masons Falls.
The project involved detailed on-site assessment of a wide range of conditions. Construction commenced in Autumn 2012.
